Women’s Lacrosse is one of the largest women’s sports club’s at the University of Leeds, with over 60 members each academic year. In 2010 Women’s Lacrosse became recognised by the University of Leeds as a Performance Sport and began a programme of investment in the future of University Lacrosse.
Playing Lacrosse for Leeds
Both our 1st and 2nd teams play in the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) League every Wednesday and we welcome players of all standards from beginners to the elite. We also compete in various tournaments and friendlies throughout the year allowing all those who join to get involved in matches.
Socials
Every Wednesday night after our matches we have fantastic socials with our Social Secs constantly thinking up new and exciting fancy dress themes. The best parts of our social calender include our big Christmas, Easter and End of year gatherings,Sport’s Ball and an incredible tour during the Easter holidays.
