We set out from the Skyrack in different groups which run at different paces for between 1 and 2 hours. Routes include runs through the woods towards Meanwood park and the picturesque Eccup Reservoir in North Leeds. By Christmas these can reach up to two hours for the stronger athletes and over an hour and half for those that really want to see some improvement. There is a greater improvement in the cardiovascular / capillary development, glycogen depletion tolerance and various other physiological benefits if you can run for over an hour on Sunday.
